Coaches get two kinds of advice about funnels. Build it all yourself, it is drag and drop now. Or hand the whole thing over and go back to coaching. Follow either one all the way and you end up with a problem.
There is a cleaner way to divide the work, and this guide walks through it: what to keep, what to hand over, what order to build in, and how to tell where your own funnel is stuck.
The rule this whole guide is built on • Keep the parts that depend on knowing your clients better than anyone else does. • Hand over the parts that depend on having done the same task across many accounts. • Most coaches do the opposite, and that is why their funnel works technically but says nothing. |
STEP 1 KNOW WHAT ONLY YOU CAN BUILD
Your offer
Who the coaching is for, what changes for them, what is included, what you refuse to promise. No agency can invent this. We can pressure-test it and tell you when it sounds like everyone else, but the substance comes from the clients you have already worked with.
Your teaching
If you run a webinar or masterclass to fill discovery calls, the teaching in that session is the product demo. Outsourced scripts are easy to spot. They are structurally perfect and completely hollow, and the show-up rate tells the story soon enough.
Your stories
Not polished testimonials, the specific ones. The client who arrived convinced the problem was time management and it turned out to be something else. That detail is the most persuasive thing in any coaching funnel and nobody can manufacture it for you.
Your sales conversation
Handing discovery calls to a setter before you have run enough yourself is a common and expensive mistake. Until you know exactly why people say no, nobody can sell for you, and nobody can write the funnel that pre-handles those objections.
STEP 2 — KNOW WHAT IS WORTH HANDING OVER
What | Why it is better handed over |
Tracking | Pixel, Conversions API, event mapping and attribution. Fiddly, changes often, and when it is wrong it fails silently. Your reports become quietly untrue and the algorithm starts finding the wrong people. The most expensive thing to get wrong yourself. |
The build | Landing pages, booking flow, form logic, WhatsApp automation, reminder sequences, CRM. Repetitive work that someone who has done it many times will finish faster and break less. |
Creative volume | Film your own videos, your face outperforms anything staged. But cutting variants, testing hooks and refreshing before fatigue is a production pipeline, and very few coaches sustain it alongside coaching. |
The ad account | Campaign structure, budget calls, knowing when a dip is noise and when it is a problem. Pattern recognition built across many accounts, which is exactly the thing worth buying. |
STEP 3 — SHARE THE MIDDLE GROUND
A few things go flat when either side does them alone.
Where | How to split it |
Landing page copy | You write the raw version in your own words, badly, without worrying about polish. Someone else shapes it. Copy written entirely by an outsider always sounds like one. |
Webinar slides | Your content, their structure and design. |
Follow-up messages | The sequence logic can be built for you, but the voice should be yours, because prospects meet that same voice on the call. |
Objection handling | You know what people say. Turning it into funnel copy is a craft skill. |
STEP 4 — BUILD IN THIS ORDER
Most half-finished funnels got that way by building in the wrong sequence. This is the order that holds up.
Stage | What you do | What it has to prove before you move on |
One | Sharpen the offer | A stranger can tell in seconds who it is for and what changes. Tested in conversations, not in a page builder. |
Two | Run discovery calls yourself | You can predict the objections before they are said out loud. |
Three | Build the teaching | The webinar, VSL or session that fills those calls actually holds attention and produces bookings. |
Four | Pages, automation, tracking | The path from click to booked call works end to end, and your reporting is telling you the truth. |
Five | Turn on ads | Everything above is already converting without paid traffic propping it up. |
If you feel the urge to skip to stage five because the rest is slow, notice that impulse. It is the most reliable predictor of a funnel that will not work. Ads applied to an unproven funnel help you lose money faster, nothing else.
Find where yours is stuck
A quick diagnostic before you decide what help you need.
What you are seeing | Where the problem usually is |
Plenty of leads, empty calendar | Qualification and follow-up, not the ads |
Good registrations, poor show-up | The teaching promise, or reminder sequences |
Calls happening, nobody signing | The offer, or calls booked with the wrong people |
Results dropped with no change made | Creative fatigue, or tracking that broke quietly |
Numbers never match across tools | Tracking and attribution set up wrong |
WHERE FUNNEL INDIA COMES IN
We build and run funnels for coaching businesses, and we hold to the split above fairly strictly because it is what makes the work last.
We do not write your offer for you. We interrogate it, sit with you while you get it sharp, and say plainly when it sounds like every other coach in your category. Then we take the parts that benefit from repetition: the pages and booking flow, tracking wired up properly so your reporting is honest, WhatsApp automation for instant replies, reminders and no-show recovery, and the ad account itself with creative produced in batches. You stay on the offer, the teaching and the calls.
Book a call if any of these sound like you • Your offer is settled and you have run enough discovery calls to know why people say no. • Leads are arriving but the calendar is not filling, and you cannot tell where they are dropping off. • You have a funnel running and the numbers never agree across Ads Manager, your CRM and your calendar. • You are doing the build work yourself on evenings and weekends and it is eating the time you should be coaching. • Ads are running but you cannot say what a signed client costs you. |
Do not fill the form yet if • Your offer is still changing week to week. Settle it first, in conversations. • You have not personally run discovery calls yet. Nobody can build a funnel around objections you have not heard. • You are looking for someone to invent your positioning. That part has to come from you. • Your budget will not stretch past a few weeks of testing. Ads need room to settle before they tell you anything. |
If you are in the second group, that is genuinely fine and worth knowing now. We would rather tell you on a call than take a retainer and hope. Come back when stage one and stage two are done.
